Four years ago, we were able to implement an automation project for our customer Rupp Food in Hörbranz, which produces pet food and foodstuffs. This freed the employees from the heavy lifting work and closed the gap left by the staff shortage.
Our twin simulation software was used to bring the CAD data to life as a physics-based digital twin. The feasibility, cycle times, component selection and risks were therefore checked and minimized.
Whether PLC, robot or HMI, everything was fully tested before the real machine was built. As a result, costly service calls while production is at a standstill, mechanical damage if, for example, a robot receives the wrong target coordinates due to communication errors, are all a thing of the past.
